Up the creek without a paddle

Just a quick thumbs up to the Langley Environmental Partners Society and all the volunteers that came out for a couple of hours to help clean up a bit of Bertrand Creek. What a great day! Reminded me of my early days growing up in East Vancouver and exploring some of the streams there back in the 60s with my buddies.

It's great to play in our local creeks, but this is serious business. These waterways are home to thousands of salmon as they make their way through their lifecycle.  That's why it's so important to keep them free of debris and chemical pollutants.

Education and awareness are some of the most important aspect of dealing with our climate crisis. I'd like to hear your thoughts on how we can all help protect our salmon habitat.
