Dropped into Terry Beech's Burnaby North - Seymour campaign office to wish him well in the upcoming campaign. Looks like they're all set to go!

Popped into the Nikomekl River Planning Workshop run by the City of Langley to discuss ways of enhancing the river running through the City. Great crowd of about 50 came down to talk about improving the fish habitat, flood prevention, accessability and other great ideas. It's encouraging to see residents get involved! 

Met up with a few of the Fraser Valley characters at Member of Parliament Jati Sidhu's residence for discussions on the way ahead leading up to October! Will there be a Rally in the Valley?

After years of work by the Langley Rotary Club and the Township of Langley, we were treated to the grand opening. (Watch out for that third beam in the floor, over on the left - I installed that one)

You can't have an open house without the clean up crew coming in the day before to dust, and vacuum and clean the windows. (Let me know if I missed any of the dust on the beams!) What a team!

Our annual Tip 'n Taste craft beer event is coming up on Friday, 14 June 2019. C'mon out and join the hundreds of Langley residents that will be tasty the local brews. Check out the Langley Advance Times article. Yours truly is the Chairman! Bring out Dad for a beer tasting! Or bring out your son!

We just completed our first neighbourhood clean up as part of the Township of Langley Adopt-a-Program which provides all the supplies. Catherine and I spent an hour picking up some of the garbage that tends to be discarded by some of less caring individuals. Overall, there was surprisingly little garbage! There was only one fast food wrapping discard, some plastic in the detention ponds and a couple of doggie bags left behind. Mind you, there were a lot of cigarette butts and those plastic cigarillo tips apparently never decompose!
On the plus side: a bald eagle sighting, loads of swallows and a couple of red-winged blackbirds. We live in a fantastic neighbourhood!
