Conference Theme: Building Future Frameworks 
During the Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence, we received updates on the changing international environment and how Canada is preparing to act alongside partners and allies to secure Canada and Canadians into the future. Traditional Canadian NATO and NORAD defence relationship, Canadian cyber structure and Canadian industry’s preparedness in meeting defence needs were discussed.

​BC Parks organized a very successful Yorke Island public outreach event at Sayward BC from 1-2 February 2019. The community was supportive with the plans in place for the island and it looks like we will continue our successful partnership between BC Parks andthe Vancouiver Artillery Association.
