Sometimes you just need to hit the wide open road and cruise for as long as you can go. After Catherine's successful surgery to remove the tumour in her spinal cord, we decided that it was time for a long "Roadie" trek in our camper van. It also gave me the opportunity of checking out military museums in the USA for ideas that we could use at our Artillery museum in Vancouver. I suppose a "cruising for as long as you can go" could have different definitions for different people. In our case, "as long as you can go" was from Vancouver all the way down to Mile 0 in Key West, Florida. It was a great ride despite a few mechanical issues. The only really tiring part of the drive was leaving Key West and realizing that it was a looong way to get home.
