Royal Canadian Artillery Association

Picture
On 20 October 2018 I was honoured to be chosen as the President of The Royal Canadian Artillery Association (RCAA). The RCAA is a long standing, venerable Canadian institution going back to 1876. It had the object of promoting the efficiency and welfare of the Royal Canadian Artillery and other matters pertaining to the defence of Canada. Its close contact with and influence on the federal and provincial levels of government allowed it to carry out its mandate with much success. “Promoting the effectiveness and welfare of the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery” is the raison d’être of the RCAA and I look forward to an exciting year. Please contact me if you have any concerns with the Canadian military, if you know of a Gunner that requires assistance or if you simply would like more information about The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery. Ubique. Watch for new updated website!

Municipal Elections - 2018

The 2018 election for the Township of Langley is fast approaching. There's a host of great candidates - 3 for Mayor, 23 for Councillor and 7 for School Trustees.
Congratulations to all the candidates that have decided to seek the approval of their fellow citizens in order to guide the community over the next four years. From my experience, it's a very exciting time! I salute you for putting your name forward!
General Voting Day is 20 October 2018 and I look forward to large crowds of Langley residents taking advantage of their democratic rights and voting on that day or at one of the advance voting opportunities that have been established. Remember, these are the people that we are choosing to ensure that our property tax dollars are being spent in a wise and efficient manner. Please take the time to read their biographies and attend some of the many candidate meetings that are taking place during the campaign.
I've dug up a few statistical points from previous elections. Let's see if we can improve on theses numbers. Talk to your family and friends! Let's see if we can double or even triple the numbers!
