I attended the Royal Canadian Artillery Association Annual General Meeting in Ottawa from the 12 to 14 October. It consisted of a day of briefings on the state of the Royal Canadian Artillery and a look into the way ahead. The discussion centred on joint targeting, the future of Ground Based Air defence and millennials in today's military. Saturday was focused on the RCAA and the expectations of our membership among other subjects. There was some excellent discussion and the topic will be open for further discussion throughout the year. The event was completed with the appointment of a new executive of which I am now the Vice President.

Keep up the good work! We enjoyed a great family outing that finished off with activities at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. Always a fun family time.
