Fundraiser for Harjit Sajjan

How could I turn down an invite to attend a fundraiser for an old friend and fellow member of 39 Canadian Brigade Group Harjit Sajjan! Especially one where our old boss, the former Army Commander, Andrew Leslie, is coming out from Ottawa to be the keynote speaker.
It's been very interesting to watch the transition of both Harjit and Andrew as they evolve into their new roles as politicians. The interest in serving their country should continue once they get elected and their ability to make changes outside of the military/Army sphere of interest/influence will be an interesting journey to watch and follow. I hope for the very best for the two of them. Hopefully they will be successful in their endeavor! I'm rooting for you!
