Hidden away on a municipal building in the town square of Mons Belgium, we found this plaque honouring the contribution of the Canadian Army on the last day of World War I in Europe. It has been almost 100 years and the deeds of many of these soldiers has been forgotten over time. One of my projects is find the names of all those that served with the 15th Field Artillery Regiment and the units that it has a historical connection with. From World War I that includes the 31st, 60th, 61st 62nd, 68th, and 79th and 85th Batteries of the Canadian Field Artillery plus the 5th Siege Battery of the Canadian Garrison Artillery. Their names and histories are slowly being gathered on our website. The list of those that have served with the Regiment currently stands at 3,419. Vancouver Gunners Nominal Roll
