Our recent trip to France allowed time to visit the grave sites of fallen members of my Regiment, the 15th Field Artillery Regiment RCA. During World War II the 15th Field had been re-roled into Coast Artillery with emplacements built at Stanley Park, Point Grey and Yorke Island. In 1939 the Reserve Brigade was mobilized to man these fortifications but as time went on many of the members volunteered to join units deployed overseas. Not all of them came home...My long term project is to record their history for ours and future generations to remember them. Lest we forget.
